Payment Methods
At ASSA Compañía de Seguros, S.A., we have different forms of payment to facilitate our clients’ payment of their premiums and thus provide the peace of mind of always being protected by a leading brand at a regional level.
Payments made by check to cover premiums for life policies (Group Life, Personal Accident, Group Health) should be made out to “ASSA Vida, S.A. Seguros de Personas,” and payments for Property and Damages policies (Fire, Car, Civil Liability, etc.) that are paid by check should be made out to “ASSA Compañía de Seguros, S.A.”
The different forms of payment are:
Collection Service with NPE
We have payment channels, both online and over-the-counter, with the following financial institutions:

Necessary documentation to present:
- Notice of Collection of the installment to be paid
Automatic Charge to Electronic Card
We have the modality of automatic credit card charges, in which our clients have the capacity to choose the day on which they wish to be charged for the installments of their policy.
In order to have this modality, it is necessary to complete the “automatic credit card charge form”:
It should also be completed when the client wishes to change the information of the card to which the charges are to be made.
Payment at the Window
Payment at the window (ASSA facilities in San Salvador: Calle Loma Linda, Colonia San Benito, No.265).
Payment made at our facilities, specifically at the cashier’s window, during the following hours:
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (No closing at noon)
Necessary documentation to be presented:
- Insured’s Card; or
- Notice of Collection of the premium to be paid
Deposits or Bank Account Transfers
You may also make your policy payments by direct deposit to our bank account. If you choose this payment method, please send us your proof of payment, registering the transfer or deposit here.
Bitcoin Payment
Payment is received only at the cashier of our main office in San Salvador, through the Chivo Wallet application or other compatible application, by means of a QR code. Please note that applications other than Chivo Wallet may generate commission. Learn more here.
